Steph Curry Is Still HIM πŸ€

Steph Curry just reminded everyone who the greatest shooter of all time is with an ABSURD 56-point explosion against Orlando last night!

The Chef was cooking at another level, draining 12 threes on 19 attempts - just two shy of Klay's single-game record.

The wildest part? Curry had only 5 points when the Magic were up 17 in the second quarter. Then he just went nuclear, hitting 16 shots like they were layups, including a ridiculous logo three to end the first half.

By the time he led a 30-9 run after halftime, Orlando was completely cooked.

This was his 45th career game with 9+ threes, which is as many as the next FIVE players COMBINED. Plus it was his 9th 50-point game since turning 30, passing freaking Wilt Chamberlain!

The Warriors have now won 5 straight and 7 of 8 since getting Jimmy Butler, who summed it up perfectly: "It makes everyone want to be great on defense, so we can get him the ball back and watch him do something incredible." πŸ”₯πŸ€

2025 Combine Winners And Losers

The NFL Combine kicked off yesterday with defensive linemen and linebackers showing their stuff, and man, there were some FREAKS putting on a show!

Tennessee edge rusher James Pearce Jr. was the star of the day, running a ridiculous 4.47 forty at 245 pounds and he had to wear a hoodie because he forgot his shirt at the hotel! That speed should push him from the first-round bubble into a guaranteed Day 1 pick.

Texas A&M's Shemar Stewart was another standout with a monster 10'11" broad jump (best of the day) and 40-inch vertical before tweaking his hammy. Meanwhile, Arkansas' Landon Jackson hit a 40.5-inch vert - the highest for a 260+ pound D-lineman since Myles Garrett!

On the flip side, injuries kept some top prospects sidelined, including Penn State's Abdul Carter (projected #2 overall) who's dealing with both a shoulder injury AND a stress fracture that might need surgery. Yikes.

On a side note, NFL insider Ian Rapoport got into a verbal altercation with another reporter at Starbucks. It blew up so much that Charles Barkley was joking about it on Inside the NBA: "I was at Starbucks today. It's dangerous in there." πŸ˜‚β˜•

Pop Not Returning This Season

Tough news out of San Antonio - Pop has officially ruled himself out for the rest of the season as he continues recovering from that November stroke. The 76-year-old finally got to see his team in person Thursday morning, and sources say it was an emotional reunion.

In typical Popovich fashion, he gave all the credit to acting head coach Mitch Johnson and the players for "sticking together during a challenging season." The good news is he's still planning a comeback, saying he'll "continue to focus on my health with the hope that I can return to coaching in the future."

This caps off what's been a brutal season for the Spurs, who just learned they're also losing Victor Wembanyama for the rest of the year with that blood clot in his shoulder. Johnson's done a decent job keeping things together (22-30 record), but it's gotta be tough losing both your legendary coach AND generational talent in the same season.

Pop's 1,412 regular season wins are still the most all-time, and those five championship rings aren't going anywhere.

Kelce Coming Back For Season #13

The Chiefs tight end announced his return in the most Travis way possible - through his "New Heights" podcast with brother Jason.

The decision apparently came after some serious soul-searching. Earlier in the day, Pat McAfee revealed a text from Kelce saying, "I'm coming back for sure. Gonna try to get into the best shape I've been this offseason and get back to the mountaintop. Got a real bad taste in my mouth with how I played in that last game... I can't go out like that!!!!"

This is huge for KC, especially after they just lost the Super Bowl to the Eagles last month. Kelce had actually been considering retirement, admitting on his podcast that he was "kicking every can down the road" on the decision and that playing "more football than anybody" over the past 5-6 years had taken its toll.

Patrick Mahomes reacted with a perfect Michael Jordan "Last Dance" GIF - looks like the dynasty isn't done yet! Between his three rings, Taylor Swift romance, and growing media empire, Kelce could've walked away satisfied, but apparently there's still some unfinished business.

Coach Tells Devin Booker To Quiet Down

Apparently Coach Budenholzer pulled Devin Booker into his office a few weeks ago and hit him with a bombshell request to "tone down" his talking during games and huddles. According to Chris Haynes, Book was straight-up "shocked" by this convo.

The timing of this report is wild because it came right after Booker publicly called out the team's lack of communication following their latest loss to the Pelicans.

When asked about their struggles, Booker literally said, "It could be fixed with just a little bit more talking" and "When things get tough, we get quiet as a team."

Booker is literally saying they need MORE communication while his coach is privately telling him to shut up. Book even threw in what feels like a little dig: "I'd rather two people say the wrong thing to each other out there than nobody talk at all."

The Suns are in a tailspin, losing 10 of their last 12 to drop to 27-32. Guess that "talk less" strategy isn't exactly working out! πŸ€
