🏈 Shadeur Is Making Teams Wait

Looks like Shedeur Sanders is playing the Combine game by his own rules!
Coach Prime's son - who many consider one of the top two QBs in this draft - won't be throwing at the NFL Combine in Indy this week. He'll still meet with teams but is saving the arm talent showcase for Colorado's pro day next month.
Last year's top QBs (Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye) all skipped the throwing portion too, and they turned out just fine. Shedeur's got the stats to back up the move - dude led the NATION with a ridiculous 74% completion rate in 2024, and his 71.8% career mark at Colorado is an FBS record.
Mel Kiper's got him as his top QB prospect, slightly ahead of Miami's Cam Ward. Interestingly, those two have actually been training together in Dallas since the season ended. The QB draft is officially heating up! 🔥
🏀 Bus Carrying IU Men’s Basketball Team Bursts Into Flames

Holy crap, talk about a nightmarish road trip for IU Indianapolis hoops!
Their charter bus literally BURST INTO FLAMES on I-275 while heading home from Northern Kentucky yesterday. The fire completely destroyed the bus - no roof, no windows, just a charred shell left behind.
Everyone made it out safely, but most players and coaches could only grab whatever was literally on their bodies at that moment. They lost phones, wallets, gear - pretty much everything. The athletic director called it "scary and chaotic," which feels like a massive understatement.
To make matters worse, this all happened after they'd just lost to Northern Kentucky to fall to 9-20 on the season. The team got picked up by a school bus, chilled at a restaurant for a few hours, and finally got home late Sunday night on a replacement charter.
Crisis averted. We’re happy everyone made it out okay.
🏈 The End Of The Tush Push?

Looks like we've got more "Tush Push" drama brewing in the NFL!
Some unnamed team is trying to change the rules on the Eagles' unstoppable QB sneak that just helped them win the Super Bowl. The play is basically Jalen Hurts getting shoved from behind by his teammates while the offensive line surges forward - it's nearly automatic for Philly but other teams can't seem to figure it out.
Packers president Mark Murphy is being especially salty about it, complaining that it's "almost an automatic first down" and bringing up how the Commanders looked ridiculous failing to stop it in the NFC Championship.
Coincidentally, Green Bay lost to Philly in the playoffs... wonder if that's related? 🤔
The owners would need to vote on any rule changes in March, but this feels like classic "if you can't beat 'em, ban 'em" energy from teams that just can't match Philly's execution.
Is Embiid’s Season Over?

The Embiid situation in Philly is getting concerning.
Embiid and the Sixers are now looking at surgery as a real option for his busted knee after everything else has failed. Despite getting regular injections and trying to tough it out, that knee isn't getting any better.
Joel's been dropping hints about needing surgery for weeks, but he's been trying to power through. Problem is, he’s only played in 19 of 56 games this season!
And when he does play, he's looking rough - just got benched in the fourth quarter against the Nets after putting up only 14 points.
The 76ers' championship dreams have turned into a total nightmare. They've lost seven straight, sitting at 20-36, and even when their Big 3 of Embiid, PG, and Maxey all play together, they're still below .500.
They're now sixth-worst in the league, which means they might keep their draft pick instead of sending it to OKC.
Arizona Fans Are Ruthless

Man, things got ugly after BYU shocked #19 Arizona with that 96-95 road win on Saturday.
Some Arizona fans were caught on video chanting "F**k the Mormons" after their team lost on what they felt was a controversial foul call with just seconds left.
The Wildcats' athletic director had to issue an apology, saying that garbage "is not reflective of who we are." BYU's response was pretty measured, basically saying this kind of religious targeting happens more than you'd think, and while they've got bigger problems to worry about, "words really do matter."
The game itself was a thriller that ended with BYU's Richie Saunders hitting two clutch free throws with just 3.2 seconds left after a disputed foul call. Things got so heated that players from both teams had to be separated after the final buzzer when Arizona's Caleb Love (who dropped 27 points) and BYU's Mawot Mag started jawing at each other.
That's now back-to-back ranked wins for BYU.
