The Mavs Are Losing Season Ticket Holders

Mavs fans are still FURIOUS about the Luka trade.
Things are so bad in Dallas that they're offering refunds to season ticket holders who want to cancel after trading their 25-year-old superstar to the Lakers.
Fans straight up protested outside American Airlines Center on Sunday, waving signs bashing GM Nico Harrison for the shocking deal that sent Doncic (five-time All-NBA at just 25!) to LA for a 31-year-old Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a future first-round pick.
The wild part? Harrison blindsided everyone, even Luka. Poor Luka just bought a new crib in Dallas and this is a guy who led the Mavs to the NBA finals last year.
Harrison's response to angry fans: "I'm sorry they're frustrated, but... when we win, I believe the frustration will go away."
AD is AD but… is that enough to win it all?
Rams Trading Away Star WR

Cooper Kupp's time in LA is over.
The Super Bowl MVP announced Monday that the Rams are "seeking a trade immediately" - and he's not happy about it.
The numbers tell the story:
$29.8M cap hit next year
Only $5M guaranteed for 2025
Rams can save $20M with post-June 1 trade
Kupp's frustrated: "I don't agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA." His legacy with the Rams is legendary - that 2021 season was HISTORIC:
Led NFL in catches, yards, TDs
Super Bowl MVP in win over Bengals
Signed $80.1M extension after
But injuries have limited him to 33 games over the last three seasons, while rookie sensation Puka Nacua (88.4 yards per game) has emerged as the new WR1.
After eight seasons, the third-round pick from Eastern Washington who became one of the NFL's best receivers is looking for a new home.
Most “Affordable” Super Bowl Since 2019

The cheapest seats for Chiefs-Eagles in New Orleans might fall below $4K - something we haven't seen since Pats-Rams in 2019. Average prices are down 35% in just nine days.
Some wild storylines affecting prices:
First sitting president ever attending (Trump)
The Chiefs going for the historic three-peat
Yet prices keep falling (down to $4,122 for upper bowl)
Brokers think there are a few reasons for the drop:
Super Bowl LVII rematch (same fanbases too soon)
"Chiefs fatigue" (5 Super Bowls in 6 years)
Crazy expensive hotel costs in NOLA
Nobody knows how Trump's attendance might affect prices since no president has ever been to a Super Bowl. Secret Service says they've been planning security for weeks.
Will prices keep dropping into the weekend like the last four Super Bowls? Fans are playing chicken with brokers, hoping to score last-minute deals! 🎟️

Another gambling scandal in the MLB!
Umpire Pat Hoberg has been fired for sharing his sports gambling accounts with a friend who bet on baseball. While MLB found no evidence Hoberg personally bet on games or manipulated them, he got axed for deleting messages during the investigation.
The numbers are wild:
Friend made 141 baseball bets totaling $214,000 (won $35,000)
8 bets involved games Hoberg worked
Friend placed bets from Hoberg's house
The crazy part? Hoberg was one of MLB's best umps - he had a literal "perfect game" calling balls and strikes in World Series Game 2 in 2022 (129/129 correct calls!). Now he can't even apply for reinstatement until 2026.
Commissioner Manfred said while there's no evidence of game manipulation, sharing accounts with someone betting on baseball "creates at minimum the appearance of impropriety that warrants imposing the most severe discipline."
Why can’t these guys gamble on something that won’t get them fired? Blackjack, craps, or slots are fair game…
The Bucks Are Making Moves đź‘€

Another major trade in the NBA!
The Bucks just traded Khris Middleton to the Wizards - ending an 11-year run that included a championship - for Kyle Kuzma in a multiplayer deal!
Bucks get:
Kyle Kuzma (15.2 PPG)
Patrick Baldwin Jr.
Second-round picks
Wizards get:
Khris Middleton
AJ Johnson (2024 first-rounder)
Pick swap
This ends an era in Milwaukee - Middleton was their third all-time leading scorer (12,586 points) and franchise leader in threes (1,382). But injuries have limited him lately.
Kuzma's reducing his trade bonus to help Milwaukee get under the second apron, giving them more roster flexibility. He's younger (29) than their aging core and can play small-ball with Giannis, though his three-point shooting (career-low 28% this year) is a concern.
After 735 games and a 2021 championship together, Giannis loses his longtime running mate. End of an era in Milwaukee! 🦌
