š Quinn Ewers Headed To The NFL

Hereās to an end of an era in Austin!
Quinn Ewers is officially heading to the NFL after putting Texas football back on the map. This dude's resume is pretty stacked - we're talking a 21-5 record as starter, taking the Longhorns to back-to-back playoffs, and even picking up their first CFP wins ever against Clemson and Arizona State.
The numbers don't lie: 9,128 yards, 68 touchdowns, and a sweet 64.9% completion rate over three years.
Remember when this guy skipped his senior year of high school to cash in on NIL deals at Ohio State? He ended up coming home to Texas when they were down bad (5-7 in 2021) and helped turn the whole program around.
Now the keys to the kingdom go to Arch Manning (nephew of Peyton and Eli) in 2025.
New Bill Bans Transgender Athletes From Female Sports

The House just passed the "Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act" in a close 218-206 vote, with two Democrats joining Republicans in support.
The bill would modify Title IX to define sex based on reproductive biology at birth and could impact schools' federal funding if they allow transgender women and girls to participate in female sports programs.
The legislation would still permit training/practice participation as long as it doesn't take opportunities away from other athletes.
Key arguments from both sides: Supporters say it ensures fair competition in women's sports, while opponents worry about potential discrimination and intrusive verification processes. The bill now moves to the Senate for consideration.
š Flag Football - The Next Big Thing?

From dirt fields to NFL stadiums - that's the wild journey of Tatiana Dos Santos, who went from playing in Panama to crushing it at the college level with four straight NAIA titles at Ottawa.
Flag football is about to be bigger than tackle globally, with over 20 million players in 100+ countries. In the US alone, participation jumped from 200,000 to 800,000 players since 2018.
The NFL's going all in too. They're showing games on ESPN, running Super Bowl ads, and pro teams are investing big time in local programs. Speaking of money, two new pro teams (Boston and Vegas) just sold for $3M each for a league starting in 2025, where players will make $1,000 a week.
But here's the wildest part - flag football's headed to the 2028 Olympics in LA! There's even talk about NFL stars possibly playing, giving us potential "Dream Team" vibes like the '92 Olympic basketball squad.
Who should be on that squad if it forms?
Kevin Harlanās New Home

Kevin Harlan, one of the most iconic voices in sports, is about to take his talents to Amazon Prime.
He's joining Ian Eagle as one of the main play-by-play guys for Amazon's new NBA coverage.
This move makes total sense since he was already doing NBA games for TNT, and now Amazon's getting in on the basketball action.
The streaming wars are getting real in the NBA next season - games will be split between ESPN/ABC, Amazon Prime, and NBC/Peacock. Amazon's building quite the squad too, with Dirk Nowitzki and Blake Griffin joining as studio analysts, plus Taylor Rooks hosting.
šÆ Tiger Woodsā TGL Debut

TGL is back for round two tonight, and this time we're getting the GOAT himself!
Tiger Woods is finally stepping out of the broadcast booth and onto the virtual tee with his Jupiter Links squad against LA Golf Club.
We get two hours of mic'd up Tiger playing alongside professional trash-talkers Max Homa and Kevin Kisner.
Key things to look out for:
How will Tiger handle these wild virtual course designs? Some are sweet, some are... questionable
That 40-second shot clock that everyone loved in week 1 - will it mess with guys like Homa and Rose who do that AimPoint green-reading thing?
Can they keep the energy up during singles matches?
Most importantly... what's Tiger's walk-out song gonna be?
They've got Morikawa, Rose, and Theegala on the other side, but everyone's tuning in to watch Tiger do his thing in this crazy new format.
