He just got suspended for the THIRD time this month after walking out of Monday's shootaround when he found out he was getting benched for Haywood Highsmith.
The timeline is getting wild:
January 3: Seven-game suspension for "multiple instances" of bad behavior
Last week: Two games for missing the team flight to Milwaukee
Now: At least five more games after bailing on shootaround
Butler's response? Posted clips from "Martin" featuring Tommy, the character famous for being unemployed š But the Heat aren't laughing.
The Heat are barely staying afloat at 22-22 (8th in the East) while Butler's averaging just 17 points, way below his usual standards.
Coach Spo's trying to "quiet the noise" but with Butler rocking Phoenix Suns shoes and talking about "getting my joy back," looks like the Heat's culture king might be taking his talents OUT of South Beach! š“š
Record Prices For Super Bowl Ads š°

Super Bowl ad space is going for INSANE money this year!
Fox totally sold out by November and even had a waitlist - we're talking a record $8 MILLION for just 30 seconds of airtime!
Why so expensive? Simple math: Last year's game pulled in nearly 124 million viewers. That's why all the big dogs are jumping in:
Anheuser-Busch
Meta
PepsiCo
Frito-Lay
Taco Bell
Uber Eats
Some companies are paying even MORE than $8M depending on when their ad runs during the game. Fox's CEO Lachlan Murdoch was hyped about it too, bragging about the "record pricing" during an earnings call.
So when you're watching Chiefs-Eagles on Feb. 9, get ready for some expensive entertainment during those commercial breaks! š°šŗ
Michiganās Sign Stealing Scandal

Michigan's firing back HARD at the NCAA's investigation into their sign-stealing drama. In a massive 137-page response, they're basically saying "slow your roll" to all those violations.
Here's what's going down: Michigan's calling out the NCAA for "grossly overreaching" with those 11 violations (including SIX Level I - the most serious kind). They're especially defending new head coach Sherrone Moore and former coach Jim Harbaugh.
How about those deleted texts between Moore and Stalions? Michigan says chill - they were just "innocuous" messages and Moore deleted them because he was "extremely angry" about how this could hurt the program, not to hide anything.
Michigan is saying this whole sign-stealing thing barely even mattered for games. They claim Connor Stalions (the ex-staffer at the center of it all) only went to ONE game himself, and most of their signal decoding came from watching TV like everybody else does.
Now we're headed for a showdown at the NCAA's Committee on Infractions in the next few weeks. Michigan wants this treated as a Level II case - way less serious than what the NCAA's pushing for.
Caitlin Wants To Be Reunited With Bestie

Kate Martin is absolutely CRUSHING IT in Unrivaled! The former Iowa star is 3-0 with her Laces team and showing off some major improvements in her game - which has her old college teammate Caitlin Clark taking notice.
Clark's already plotting a reunion! She straight up said, "That's my goal at some point in my career, to team up with Kate again" and even joked about trying to recruit her to the Fever.
But in true competitor fashion, Clark also admitted there might be some fun in staying rivals: "We need to have that little beef and that little battle!"
Valkyries fans have to be loving what they're seeing from Martin - she's holding her own against some of the best wings in the world. Who knows? Maybe we'll see these Iowa besties team up again in Unrivaled next season! š
š The NFLās Tech Debacle

The NFL's having a major technology debate after that controversial Josh Allen fourth-down spot in the AFC Championship.
The league actually has some incredible tech available - six ultra-HD cameras in every stadium and microchips inside every football - but they're still relying on human refs to make these crucial calls.
The challenge is more complex than you might think. For one, football isn't like tennis or soccer where you have clear sightlines - the ball often disappears in a pile of players. Even more tricky, it's not just about where the ball is, but WHEN the play is dead. The refs need to know exactly where the ball was when a knee touched down or forward progress stopped.
The current tracking tech has an error margin of up to 6 inches - that's more than half the length of a football. And while some argue that even imperfect tech could help on replay reviews (like if data shows the ball was clearly 8 inches past the line), the NFL's been hesitant to pull the trigger.
This debate's been going on since at least 2021, but plays like the Allen spot might finally force change. Just like how that infamous Saints-Rams no-call in 2019 led to challenging pass interference, sometimes it takes a high-profile playoff controversy to push innovation forward.
For now though, we're still stuck with the old-school chain gang.
