👨‍🍳 Chef Curry Keeps Cookin’

Another night, another piece of NBA history for Steph Curry.

The greatest shooter to ever live became the first player EVER to hit 4,000 three-pointers last night, draining a 28-footer in the third quarter of the Warriors' 130-104 win over Sacramento.

What makes it even more perfect? The milestone shot came on a broken play - Curry lost the ball at half court, there was a scramble with three Kings players, Moses Moody somehow recovered it and found Steph, who hit a pump fake, sidestep, and SPLASH!

His teammates were so desperate to get him the historic bucket that they were forcing passes and turning the ball over.

The win was Golden State's sixth straight, and they're now an incredible 13-1 with Jimmy Butler in the lineup. With Kuminga back from injury (18 points in 20 minutes) and Curry turning 37 today feeling rejuvenated, this Warriors team suddenly looks dangerous again.

As for how far Steph can push his record? Coach Kerr thinks he'll "make another 1,000 for sure." 🔥🏀

Cooper Flagg Goes Down

Cooper Flagg's ankle injury sent shockwaves through March Madness, but Duke found a way to survive against Georgia Tech without their superstar freshman.

The good news: no fracture, just swelling. The bad news: their title hopes hang in the balance.

While Flagg watched from the bench, his teammates stepped up in a major way - particularly freshman Kon Knueppel, who erupted for a season-high 28 points with 8 assists. The 6'7" wing ran a season-high 14 pick-and-rolls and showed he can be more than just a shooter, potentially boosting his NBA draft stock from a projected top-10 pick into the top-5 conversation.

7'2" center Khaman Maluach also delivered when Duke needed him most, setting the tone with two blocks on the first two defensive possessions of the second half to spark their comeback. Without Flagg's defensive presence, Maluach's rim protection becomes even more critical.

Isaiah Evans (currently projected as a second-rounder) got more opportunities too, hitting key threes and showing off his 44.4% shooting from deep. As a 6'6" wing who can score, he might be playing his way onto draft boards earlier than expected.

The reality? Duke's title chances are probably done if Flagg can't return by the Sweet 16 or Elite Eight. But their 78-70 victory shows they've got enough talent to at least survive the opening weekend and give their star time to heal. 🏀

NFL Free Agency Madness

Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson remain the two biggest dominos yet to fall, and their decisions could trigger a chain reaction across the league.

Wilson's been making the rounds - he's visiting the Giants today after checking out the Browns yesterday. (Side note: the Giants are so desperate they're also hosting 39-year-old Joe Flacco...yikes).

Meanwhile, Rodgers is officially a free agent after the Jets released him Wednesday, and he's reportedly choosing between the Steelers and Giants, with the Vikings as a dark horse candidate. The Steelers have apparently already put an offer on the table, though retirement also remains a possibility for the 41-year-old.

The fascinating part? If one of these QB-needy teams gets left without a chair when the music stops, we might see a trade for Kirk Cousins, who just signed that massive deal with Atlanta.

There are still plenty of other free agents available too - offensive tackle Mekhi Becton is actually ranked as the top remaining player by Yahoo, ahead of even Rodgers. With the draft just around the corner (where Cam Ward is projected to go #1), we're in for a wild few weeks of NFL roster building! 🏈

Revenge For Oweh

Otega Oweh really has Oklahoma in his personal revenge tour! The Kentucky transfer just buried his former school for the SECOND time in three weeks, hitting a baseline jumper with 0.5 seconds left to give the #15 Wildcats an 85-84 win in the SEC tournament.

This sequel might have been even more dramatic than the original. Two weeks ago, Oweh dropped 28 points and sank a game-winner with six seconds left while Oklahoma students chanted "He's a traitor!" at him. This time, he poured in 27 points including the dagger that sends Kentucky to the quarterfinals against #5 Alabama.

The Wildcats were cruising with a 10-point lead and just 1:20 left before Oklahoma mounted a furious comeback. The Sooners actually took an 84-83 lead with 5.6 seconds left on Jeremiah Fears' bucket (he finished with 28 points), setting the stage for Oweh's heroics.

When asked about torching his former team again, Oweh played it cool: "I'm just trying to hoop. It's not really the team. Although, it feels good, for sure."🏀

These Cowboys Are Beefin’

After spending 11 years with Dallas, Lawrence signed with Seattle and immediately fired shots at his former team, saying: "I know for sure I'm not going to win a Super Bowl there."

Parsons wasn't having ANY of it, hitting Twitter with: "This what rejection and envy look like! This some clown s---!" Sources told ESPN that several Cowboys staffers were pissed about Lawrence's comments too.

But Tank didn't back down, clapping back at Parsons with the ultimate burn: "Calling me a clown won't change the fact that I told the truth. Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn't have left." 🔥🔥🔥

The irony is that just before free agency, Lawrence told reporters "I'd like to stay here. It would be a glorious thing." But the Cowboys weren't willing to match Seattle's three-year, $32.5 million deal with $18 million guaranteed (and up to $42 million with incentives).

After missing the final 13 games last year with a foot injury and watching the Cowboys collapse to a 7-10 record, Lawrence is clearly ready for a fresh start. At his Seattle press conference, he said: "Just thinking and wanting a Super Bowl, it doesn't all come together if all the pieces ain't there."

Unfortunately, these two won't face off in the regular season, but a playoff matchup would be absolute FIRE! 🏈
