College Football Boosting Ad Sales

This will be their most-watched college football season since 2016.
With 12 teams now making the playoffs, more fanbases are engaged throughout the season. ABC is having its best college football ratings since 2009, hosting 12 of the 15 most-watched games this year. The increased stakes are also boosting ad engagement – viewers are 11% more likely to engage with commercials during college football games on Disney networks compared to prime-time averages.
Disney has already sold 90-95% of playoff and championship game ad sales. Brands like Jimmy Dean, Popeyes, and Skyrizi are seeing particularly strong engagement during games.
The success validates Disney's big sports investments, including their reported $300 million annual SEC rights deal and the $7.8 billion College Football Playoff contract through 2031-32.
NFL Coaches On The Hot Seat

Matt Eberflus’ season in Chicago is over after a meltdown in Detroit. And the weekend didn't offer much relief for other struggling coaches. In nine matchups between teams with winning and losing records, the favorites won every time. The Cowboys were the exception, with Mike McCarthy pulling off a victory on Thanksgiving.
The timing is critical with five weeks left in the season. It's a stark reminder that in the NFL, job security often comes down to these crucial December games. And for several coaches, the clock is ticking louder after Week 13's results.
A Man Of His Team

Round of applause for Notre Dame QB Riley Leonard 👏.
Riley is pulling in some serious money through the NIL (close to $1M), but he’s making sure his teammates eat with him.
This young man’s philosophy is to be a servant leader. And he’s leading by example.
For one NIL deal (worth 5 figures), Riley refused to accept the deal unless the company included his offensive line.
What a guy. Looking out for the guys who protect him on the field.
Money Talks With Michigan 💰

Michigan is not afraid to pay.
5-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood, currently committed to Alabama, won't sign during the Early Signing Period. Michigan is letting Ty know they see his worth. Despite going 7-5 in Sherrone Moore's first season, the Wolverines are leveraging their national championship and NIL resources to attract top talent.
Both Haywood and his mother are big Alabama fans. But Michigan's persistent recruitment convinced them to at least consider a visit to Ann Arbor.
Michigan's aggressive NIL strategy – as seen with Underwood's reported $10+ million package – might be changing the recruiting landscape. Even a down year isn't stopping top prospects from seeing Michigan as an attractive destination.
Money talks.
Super Squad Letter By UFC fighter Sodiq Yusuff

Today we’re spotlighting a segment off of UFC featherweight “Super” Sodiq Yusuff’s newsletter Super Squad Letter.
So enjoy this segment titled “Fiance ASMR videos” 😂
Lately, I’ve been helping my fiance record these ASMR videos of her cleaning random things around the house.
I’m happy to help her do stuff like this because she’s not the most outgoing person. She’s either too cool for school or she doesn’t want to put herself out there.
But, she’s been putting these ASMR cleaning videos on TikTok.
She’s been a fan of these videos for a while. And to be honest, I’ve always thought they were the strangest videos.
We’d be sitting down together and all of a sudden I’d hear the sounds of scrubbing, cleaning, or washing. And I’d be like, “Why are you into this?” 🤣
Little do I know, there’s a massive community of content creators who make ASMR cleaning videos 😅
If someone wanted to be misogynistic, they could say that women get together on girls’ night out to watch cleaning videos 🤣🤣
But my fiance likes it and I’m in full support.
If you’re going to clean the house and have fun doing it, I have no problem with that 🤣
Her ASMR cleaning channel on TikTok is rated E for everyone. Nothing weird going on. If you’re actually into that stuff, give her a follow. (@ashleykeepsitclean)
Speaking of people getting out of their comfort zone, my sister-in-law started making content around journaling.
In the same way I thought about cleaning ASMR, my brother thought the same about journaling. Just some obscure hobby his wife is into.
But again, it turns out that there’s a huge community around journaling. And my sister-in-law has real subscribers that tune in to watch her videos (@elliesnotes)
Apparently, she’s really good at it too. My brother and I have no idea how to tell if someone is good at journaling. But my sister-in-law’s fans say she’s a beast. So that’s really cool.
It’s just cool to support people in your life when they summon the courage to put themselves out there, especially around their passions.
It’s always uncomfortable when you start sharing stuff about your hobbies because it’s mostly been a private thing and you don’t wanna get judged.
So it’s inspirational to see.
My mom has also been going on TikTok live every single day selling her products. I would’ve never imagined that happening. (@basirat101)
But she enjoys doing it and she’s selling her clothes.
I’m in full support of all of this. But some other stuff though…
There’s the weirder fascinations. I saw the strangest video the other day.
First of all, my Instagram algorithm is getting wild. I have no idea what’s going on.
But I saw this video of this woman laying in bed and I clicked on it. And she’s just lying there… farting 💨
What is going on?
And she has thousands of followers. I’m reading through the comments and having the time of my life.
But at a certain level, it’s just strange.
Some people in the comments were like, man I want to be in that room to get a whiff of that. Even suggesting different foods for her to eat.
But her content is just reels of her farting in different ways 🤣
It’s funny to me, but also creepy. To each their own.
