Alijah Arenas Comes Out of Coma

USC five-star recruit Alijah Arenas is showing major signs of improvement after his terrifying Cybertruck crash in LA early Thursday morning. The 18-year-old son of NBA legend Gilbert Arenas is now out of his induced coma, though he remains intubated.

In a seriously heartwarming development, the McDonald's All-American was lucid enough to write and ask if anyone else was hurt in the accident. Talk about character!

The crash involved his Tesla Cybertruck hitting a tree and fire hydrant before catching fire. Good Samaritans risked their lives to pull him from the burning vehicle.

Arenas, the #13 recruit in the 2025 class who recently became the first LA-area player to reach 3,000 career points.

Shedeur Sanders Falls Out of First Round

The dude with the FBS record 71.8% career completion rate is now waiting for Day 2.

Throughout the first round, potential landing spots kept passing him up. The Browns at No. 2? Nope. Saints at No. 9? Nah. Steelers at No. 21? Hard pass. Even when the Giants traded up to No. 25, they grabbed Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart instead.

This has to sting for a guy who confidently declared at the combine: "If you ain't trying to change the franchise or the culture, don't pick me."

Now he's hoping to be a second-round steal like Geno Smith or Will Levis.

Analysis Of NFL Draft First Round

Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, and analyst Charles McDonald has graded all 32 picks! Some highlights from his breakdown:

• Titans kicked things off by selecting Miami QB Cam Ward (Grade: B)

• Jaguars made a bold trade up for two-way star Travis Hunter (B+)

• Several standout offensive linemen went in round 1, including LSU's Will Campbell to the Patriots (B+)

• Two running backs cracked the first round - Boise State's Ashton Jeanty to Raiders (C-) and UNC's Omarion Hampton to Chargers (C+)

• Ravens nailed it by landing Georgia safety Malaki Starks at pick 27 (A+)

• Giants traded back into the first round for Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart (D)

• Chiefs closed out round 1 with Ohio State OT Josh Simmons, earning an A grade

Jaguars Trade Up For Travis Hunter

New Jaguars GM James Gladstone made a massive splash just minutes into the 2025 NFL Draft, trading up from No. 5 to snag Colorado's two-way phenom Travis Hunter with the second overall pick.

Hunter, the Heisman Trophy winner who starred as both a receiver and cornerback under Deion Sanders, is expected to keep playing both ways in Jacksonville. Last season the athletic freak caught 96 passes with 15 TDs while also snagging four interceptions on defense.

The Browns, surprisingly, moved down from No. 2 despite owner Jimmy Haslam recently calling the Deshaun Watson trade a "big swing and miss." They selected Michigan DT Mason Graham at No. 5, suggesting they're eyeing next year's QB class with Arch Manning and Drew Allar.

Trevor Lawrence has to be thrilled about his new playmaker!

Warriors Get Good News On Butler's Injury

Jimmy Butler's MRI results are in, and while his status for Game 3 against Houston is in "serious jeopardy," the long-term outlook is positive.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Butler is dealing with a "deep glute muscle contusion" but thankfully avoided any fractures or structural damage. That's massive for Golden State after Butler went down hard in their Game 2 loss to the Rockets.

The veteran forward was stellar in the Warriors' Game 1 win, dropping 25 points with 7 rebounds and 6 assists in 42 minutes. He'll likely sit out Saturday's game in San Francisco, but this diagnosis suggests he could return later in the series.

For a team that pulled off the 7-seed upset in Game 1, getting Butler back could be the difference between a first-round shocker and an early vacation. Golden State has to feel good about their chances with Jimmy potentially returning to save their playoff run.
