1) NFL fines Ravens $100 k for misreporting Lamar Jackson’s practice status

2) Dolphins and GM Chris Grier mutually part ways after 2‑7 start
The Miami Dolphins announced that general manager Chris Grier is leaving the team. Owner Stephen Ross said the club needs immediate change following a 2‑7 start and appointed senior personnel executive Champ Kelly as interim GM while a search for a permanent replacement begins. Grier had served as GM since 2016 and the Dolphins have not won a playoff game since the 2000 season

3) LSU interim AD Verge Ausberry empowered to hire new football coach
After firing coach Brian Kelly and athletic director Scott Woodward earlier in the week, Louisiana State University named long‑time deputy Verge Ausberry interim AD and authorized him to lead the search for a new head football coach. 5) ASU QB Sam Leavitt (foot) to have season‑ending surgery
Arizona State announced that starting quarterback Sam Leavitt will undergo season‑ending knee surgery to address a lingering issue in his right foot.
